Step inside BAR CLICHÉ, set just a short walk from Mejiro Station, and you are greeted by gentle lighting and a long, straight counter. A diverse array of bottles lines the backbar along the wall and behind sliding panels, including an impressive collection of Scotches such as the Arran Sherry Cask. Even those unfamiliar with particular labels can feel at ease; the mild-mannered master bartender thoughtfully explains the profile of each bottle, helping guests discover a glass tailored to their taste.
Beyond whisky, the selection spans highballs, wine, beer, and bespoke cocktails crafted to match your mood or how you are feeling that evening. Food is also on offer, making it easy to satisfy an appetite right at the counter while sipping at an unhurried pace.
BAR CLICHÉ is open from 18:00 in the evening until 2:00 the following morning and is closed on Sundays. Seat reservations are accepted, and cashless checkout via PayPay is available, making this a welcoming perch to drop into at the close of the day.
